It’s too wet to work in the garden today so myself & Lauren are updating our website to include some of the weddings we have done this year, I can honestly say all the brides were lovely and very relaxed about their flowers and it has been a pleasure & a privilege to be part of their special days.
Janqui & Andy were married in August and as they live in London I only got to meet them a few days before the wedding. Fortunately the Mother of the Bride was on hand to discuss their ideas with me.
Marigolds were a big part of the wedding theme and I grew a selection of bright colours especially for their wedding, I put these together with lots of other bright and rich shades in reds, oranges & yellows with some green foliage for the naturally styled table posies.
Janqui had set her heart on a trailing bouquet so for this I used trailing ivy and jasmine with marigolds, dahlias, cosmos, scabious and ammi.
I supplied some DIY flowers as the bride wanted to make the buttonholes herself and also used some flowers for her hair and to decorate the cake. Our DIY Flowers are picked especially for you and conditioned so they are ready to use straight after collection.
