Natural Funeral & Sympathy Flowers
Flowers bring us comfort in our time of need and convey our love and friendship when words are too difficult to express.
Here at The Flower Patch I specialise in natural seasonal flowers and foliages (always British where possible) to create relaxed garden gathered sympathy tributes.
I am here to help you add that personal and thoughtful touch, so your funeral tribute is as unique as the person it’s made for. Each design is created with your loved one in mind.
I work from my home studio and grow many of my own flowers. They are seasonal, scented and picked freshly for you. I can also include flowers from the garden of your loved one or their family to make the tribute even more personal.
During the winter months when my own flowers are not available I can source from a network of ethical British growers and also love to include plants and bulbs into the arrangements.
Being sustainable is important to me so I use natural & biodegradable materials suitable for natural burials, green funerals & woodland memorials: all of which is so much kinder to our environment.
I appreciate this is an extremely emotional time and will help to minimise the stress by liaising with your funeral director.
Funeral flower deliveries
I am based in Measham on the Leicestershire/Derbyshire border and I can deliver to your chosen undertaker, your home, or you are welcome to collect if you prefer.

Up to 6 miles £10.00

Types of Arrangements
Every arrangement is unique and led by the seasons but I hope this guide will give you an idea of my style.

Casket Spray
Made using seasonal garden gathered flowers and foliages, to be placed on top of the coffin. Each one is bespoke and made on a fully biodegradable moss base suitable for green burials.

Deconstructable Sheaf
This arrangement is made up of 4 bunches of flowers which can be separated after the service. The individual bunches can be used to decorate the wake or shared with family and friends.

Traditional Wreath
An elegant way to say farewell, suitable for both relatives and family friends to send. Made on a willow and moss base, dressed with the most beautiful flowers and foliages the season has to offer. Suitable for natural burials.

Natural Tied Sheaf
A simply beautiful gathering of seasonal flowers and foliages, arranged in a flat backed sheaf so that it lies on top of the coffin. Suitable for a natural burial.

Wrapped Bouquet
A beautiful gathering of garden flowers to send as a sympathy gift to the family or to complement the larger arrangements, it could also be re-used at the wake.
The bouquet is wrapped in an eco-wrap to keep it hydrated and placed in biodegradable packing and hessian. So can be laid down without any spillages. Suitable for natural burials.

Remembrance Tribute
For when you want to show how much your loved one is remembered.
Made on a biodegradable and moss base, dressed with seasonal flowers in a colour of your choice.
