A sailcloth tent has a timeless elegance and undeniable charm and set against a wide open blue sky could be the perfect choice for your wedding celebrations.
When it comes to creating a wonderful ambience for your special day, every detail counts and you won’t be disappointed with the light and airy atmosphere of the Sami Tipi sailcloth tent. With a blank canvas you and your wedding suppliers can really create a unique look and style for your wedding day.

If I had to use 3 words to describe this sailcloth vibe with gorgeous styling by The Rustic Wedding Company, it would be – Elegant, Dreamy & Romantic.

The sailcloth also offers the height for hanging installations which will really add the ‘wow’ factor when your guests enter the sailcloth. I created these willow hoops with beautiful dried flowers rather than fresh flowers as dried flowers, are lighter in weight so there was no worry of them being too heavy for the tension wire which was attached to the poles. When planning any hanging installations it’s always worth discussing different options with your florist before you set your heart on something as there are a lot of practical factors which we have to consider and each venue will have different challenges and requirements.

My style is very natural and relaxed, so suited the country cottage garden theme perfectly and the look was created with British seasonal spring flowers available at the end of April. Most of the dried flowers were grown and dried by The Flower Patch and fitted in lovely with the overall vibe and feel of the space.

We created the flower arrangements in moss covered containers using just chicken wire to hold the flowers in place. No nasty plastic floral foam was used which is really bad for our environment, especially the marine life as all the plastic particles from soaking the foam end up in our water course and eventually into our seas and rivers. Also the foam will never biodegrade hence why we don’t use it in our floristry but choose more eco friendly options. Please ask your florist if they use floral foam and consider the environment when choosing your wedding flowers.

The top table flowers were created in vintage chicken feeders which I thought was quite apt for a farm wedding. Again they were designed using chicken wire to hold the flowers in place and were in water to keep them alive.
I chose Spring flowers that were available in April and grown here in the UK. We will always try and source locally grown flowers when possible and we also grow some ourselves.
The cottage garden designs were created with the following flowers: Stocks, Tulips, Ranunculus, Narcissi, Hellebores, Forget me Knots and Blossom. The flower choice would be different for a summer wedding however we would still design in our signature ‘wild garden gathered’ style.

How fabulous does the sailcloth look at night, you and your guests will love it. The decor and flowers really can make a big impact. It’s just so romantic!

Flowers and candle light what could be better as your guests sit down to a delicious wedding breakfast!
